ThreeForMe™ laser treatments can be used on many skin types to address a variety of aging and sun-related skin conditions including sun spots, wrinkles and facial vessels. When you have your consultation, the physician will identify if you are a good fit for this procedure based on a number of different factors.
Depending on your skin condition, your physician will customize a treatment for the best results for your skin. A typical treatment includes 1-3 sessions at one-month intervals. During the consultation, they will go over your specific treatment plan in detail.
The majority of people only feel mild discomfort during the ThreeForMe™ treatments. You might feel a mild cooling sensation and a slight sensation similar to a rubber band snapping as we place the laser over the targeted treatment area. Following the treatment, the area may feel warm for about an hour. Afterwards, you may experience minor redness and swelling which should disappear within a few days.
Treatments usually last about 30 minutes. The length of treatment typically depends on the techniques used by your physician and the pre-procedure protocol involved. You can ask your physician how long you can expect to be at the office during the consultation.
You should be able to resume your regular activities on the same day as your treatment. However, some downtime may be needed as you might experience some redness and swelling.
